I find police to be ritually unclean, personally. My own religion forbids government and law enforcement to enter my house. Where the hell are my state provided radioactive suits?
It's a little hard to be sensitive to religious customs when those customs prevent you from even recognizing the authority of the government you complain to. Just look in Britain where a judge has stated that many affairs can and SHOULD be handled in a Sharia court... since many members of Islam do not recognize the authority of the British State.
That "racist" study? What the hell!?!? Is there any consideration taken into account for the quality of the food? I mean... it's entirely possible for the food that the kids don't like to have been made poorly. It also places taste and food preference on an equal scale. You apparently aren't allowed to find ANY food to be undesirable? Not to get too worked up about it... but it's just so simple to think about. Somebody thought this idea up, wrote a thesis, tested it, and felt it important and relevant enough to publish it?
I'd feed bad food to my dog... but I wouldn't want to offend anybody. Or would I?
Fun experiment: Type in "____________s Outraged" Insert your favorite religion, group, or political party and see who has the thinnest skin!
I'll talk to you later, World... call me when you grow a pair.
Good points, Jason. I've always taken issue with political correctness and it has seemed to reach new heights in the past few years. There's being "sensitive to other's viewpoints," and then there's just being ridiculous. The other issue is all the double standards that exist, but that's another story.
